Pickled cucumbers are number one in the Polish pantry, it’s difficult to imagine Polish cuisine without them. There is no other vegetable, which would give it a taste, refresh and at the same time extinguish, like pickled cucumbers.
Pickling vegetables is one of the oldest ways of preserving products, based on the activity of lactic acid bacteria, converting sugar contained in the raw material into lactic acid.
Thanks to this, the leavened vegetables retain their nutritional value and enrich, their taste and aroma.
